UTTRAKHAND GOV SUPPORT TO FILM INDUSTRY
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the state government is working with a well-planned strategy to promote filmmaking. CM Sir announced that the state has extended financial subsidies to films and web series released on OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sony Liv, Zee5 and JioCinema.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was speaking at the premiere of the Garhwali feature film, “Meri Pyari Boi”, held at Silver City Mall, Dehradun.
Honourable CM stated that film making not only creates direct employment but also strengthens tourism in the region.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the natural beauty, supportive local communities, and administrative cooperation make Uttarakhand an ideal filming destination.
